The Bridge Production Group is a newly established non-profit theatre company in New York City, dedicated to disrupting the conventional assumptions about classic theatre. Injecting the familiar with spontaneity and vitality, we seek to "bridge" the divide between the plays of "then" and the audiences of "now."
Founded by Max Hunter (Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, The Pearl Theatre; Member of Actors Equity and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society) and Jacob Owen (WorkShop Theatre, F* It Club, Everyday Inferno), The Bridge Production Group is committed to dismantling and exploiting an audience's expectations of mundane theatre. By restructuring and reimagining scripts, utilizing mixed media, and blurring genre and theme, we create an experience that is visceral, stimulating, and immediate.
